John & Sara Engagement Session | Allerton Park, Monticello, IL
September 29, 2010
“It was at a party when we first met. We had several mutual friends and we went to the same high school…actually it’s strange we didn’t meet each other much sooner.” But what started out as seeing each other at a couple mutual friends’ parties, flourished into a wonderful relationship. Sara & John have been together for five years now and are excited about tying the knot in January of 2011.
I was thrilled when Sara emailed me about doing photography for her wedding, and we quickly made plans to do an engagement shoot for last Saturday at Allerton Park. John & Sara are a super sweet and cute couple, and I had tons of fun spending time with them. I asked Sara & John to bring something special with them for their session, and what could be more special than their dog, Wrigley! Thankfully Sara’s sister, Beth, came along to give us a hand with the pup!

We got some really awesome shots of this gorgeous couple. Here’s just a few of my absolutely favorites. 🙂
P.S. Sara – I love your shoes!

Don’t they look gorgeously glam in this picture? Like something straight out of a magazine! I love it!
And then Sara would turn to look at John and I get something super soft and sweet like this.
Fierce! You guys are awesome!
Wrigley! Yay! What a good puppy! He behaved so well.
Sara – You are just plain beautiful!
I love this – they just look so happy together.
