Ryan and I got new phones yesterday. We decided to switch over to Verizon. So I’m pleased to say we now have internet. Yay! My life is going to be getting exponentially more streamlined here in the next couple weeks now that we’ll have internet at the house. On the other hand though – I’m not thoroughly convinced I love this phone yet. My last phone was the Palm Pre Centro, and I loved, loved, loved that phone. It was awesomely organized. Everything was easy to find, and I loved the little keyboard (though most people I know didn’t). 

Anyway – so I thought I would stick in the same Palm family and get the Palm Pre Plus. I’ve always been a little skeptical of phones that have the slide out keyboard. So that is my first turn off. The keyboard itself just feels way more awkward than my old phone too. I don’t know what it is…it just feels really awkward when I’m typing on it. And I don’t really like the feel of the buttons…don’t know what it is about those either, but they bother me. I also find it a little more difficult to find things on the phone, but I’ll probably get used to that in time. The rest of my dislikes are really superficial. Like they don’t make a twitter app for the Palm and the ringtone selection is pretty pathetic. But these are all things I can get used to and probably will quickly in the next couple weeks. Who knows I may have a post up halfway through October raving about how much I love my new phone – we’ll just have to see. 😉
