I’m so excited to share this little munchkin with all of you today! It seems like simultaneously forever ago and just a few days ago that I was taking little mister Harrison’s newborn portraits, and here we are doing his 6 month old session! I adore this family! I feel so very blessed that I met them all those months ago when they messaged me about maternity and newborn portraits for their little man on the way. It’s a wonderful thing when clients become those you call your friends.

The Golden’s met me at our Kirksville location. I had the space set up for their session with one of my favorite backdrops and a fun little rug on the floor. Six months old is a great age. It’s a time when little guys and gals start getting pretty active, and Harrison was having fun rolling from front to back over and over. We’d get a couple pictures of him on his tummy and then he’d immediately roll to his back. He sure made us laugh a lot just watching him having a blast rolling around. He’s such an observant little guy too. We set him up for a few pictures and it was just adorable watching him take everything in. You can see in his little eyes that he’s just absorbing everything he sees. He’s going to be one smart little boy!

For the last few portraits – we went outside and got some family portraits for the Golden’s. I love when families want to do family portraits at all of their baby plan sessions. I think it’s so important to document the whole family unit and not just our kids. I think it’s important to our kids to have photographs where they see mom smiling and dad laughing. Where they can look at a photograph and see just how loved they are at every stage in their life.

So without further ado… here’s Harrison’s 6 month session!
