I’d be lying if I said that these two gorgeous people are not two of my dearest friends. It seems crazy that the first time I met Hannah was when we helped Sarah Jane with a wedding a couple years ago. And it was at that first meeting that I thought Hannah was insanely cool and I tried to figure out how I could get to know her better without being weird. (If you know me – the not being weird thing — not something I’m particularly good at because I’m just a weird person haha) But when she opened up her boutique I came out to show my support and somehow from there on – our friendship blossomed. And I could not be more happy or grateful for this friendship!

I’ve previously done big family sessions for Hannah and Jason but I had yet to do a family photography session for just them and their furbabies. So we were way overdue for this fun session. I loved that Hannah and Jason had me come over to their house for their session. I think it’s so cool to include your home into your photos because it further documents your life at this particular point in time… where you live, inside and outside, even the decor – because moving is something that often happens and it can be nice to have these photographs to document where you lived on this day. Plus – Hannah and Jason have a beautiful home. It’s one of the older homes on the west end and Hannah has a gift for decorating and furnishing homes to make them not only look stunning but feel very warm and inviting. (Something I totally need her to teach me!)

These two love birds currently have 3 sweet little furbabies: Lily (a yorkie), Kyla (a pitbull rescue), and Bentley (yorkie-shitzu mix). And these three pups could not have asked for better owners! Hannah and Jason take exceptionally good care of their dogs and they really are part of the family. So I loved that they wanted to include them in some of their portraits! We did a few quick pictures with all the dogs inside and then headed out back for a little fun outdoors with the dogs one on one. Seriously! They are super cute!

Once we finished with the pups – Hannah, Jason, and I piled into the car and headed over to Fairview Park to get some photos of the just the two of them. After all – families start with mom and dad! And let’s be real – Hannah and Jason are a beautiful couple. They definitely need pictures that are just the two of them! I really did have tons of fun with them on their session and I was bummed when it was over! We got so many awesome pictures too! Here’s just a few of their favorites!
