I mentioned I had a few more commercial shoots in the works, and today I’m sharing another one of these with you. This was my first time working with Foremost Truck & Trailer Specialists and with a trucking company in general. Needless to say – I was really excited to capture a trucking company and some of the mechanic work taking place there.

One of my dearest and closest friends, Laramie, works at Foremost and her dad is the owner so that’s how I ended up getting this job. This year is Foremost’s 20th year in business which is an incredible accomplishment! With this major milestone – Foremost wanted to get some pictures to document their shop and create some mailers to send out to their clients.

So I drove out to Macon on a cold and cloudy day. I got some really nice stormy sky shots of the outside of the building. Then I met up with Laramie and went in to meet the guys. I seriously could have stayed here all day photographing these guys working. With all the detail work and heavy lifting – mechanics have awesome hands and forearms for dramatic looking shots. I loved using my off camera lighting in these too to create that additional dramatic look that really captures the size of the vehicles these guys work on, the skill they have, and the various places they work on vehicles.
