If you’ve been here for a while you are sure to recognize today’s family! I feel so infinitely blessed for that first message from Erin when she scheduled an anniversary session for her and Dan. That first session lead to the blossoming of one of the most important and valuable frienships I have! I’ve had the immense pleasure of documenting this sweet family for years now and it’s been an absolute joy getting to capture this handsome little man’s first year on this earth. He certainly was wanted, hoped for, prayed for and tremendously loved!

It seems downright crazy to me that this little guy is already a year old! But as we all know – time flies with these little ones! For Everett’s one year session, I met this family of three down Dan’s family’s farm. It felt so perfect to capture this sweet little guy’s one year photos at the place where our sessions first started! It was a beautiful day in late November. God certainly blessed us with an abundance of warm fall days this year. And the sun was shining perfectly through the trees and tall grass. I wanted to do my best to capture all the warmth and love between this little family and used that glowing sun to help portray it!

We ended the session with something a little special for Dan and Erin. One of their favorite shots from the first session I did with them was on the lane to Dan’s parents’ house. What better way to show the passage of time and how this family has grown that capturing some walking images of Everett on this road too!
