This is how you know we’re in busy season – you get a Saturday journal entry! And what a fun Saturday post it is! Today I get to share the stunning Miss Ellie Paz’s senior session with all of you! I was so excited when Ellie’s mom contacted me about Ellie’s senior portrait session. Ellie is friends with one of my 2015 senior models, Miss Ashlee Knapik. So I was super excited to meet one of Ashlee’s friends and get to capture her senior year!

Ellie is one of my St. Teresa Seniors. I’ve really been enjoying getting to know my Saint Teresa kids more as the photographer for the school in the second half of this school year. So I’ve actually gotten to photograph Ellie 3 times now (her senior session, softball portraits, and prom portraits). And she is such a sweet young lady! Quiet and kind, loving, generous – these are just a few of the many qualities this stunning girl possesses! On top of that – she’s also a great athlete, playing on the Saint Teresa girl’s softball team! I actually got to watch them play this week and Ellie did a great job! I’m always so impressed with the athleticism of these fine young people I get to work with!

I met Ellie and her mom at Fairview Park last week for her senior session. I knew Fairview had some awesome trees in full bloom and I knew that Ellie’s dark hair and warm complexion would be a beautiful contrast to the white flowering trees at the park. We had a perfect day for her session too – not too hot and very little breeze. It was gorgeous out! Gorgeous weather – for a gorgeous girl! One of my favorite things to do when I first meet up with my clients is to walk through all the outfits they brought, figure out which ones are their favorite and then work to choose scenery that’s going to work best with each outfit. Ellie brought a lot of variety which was fun and gave us the chance to really play and try different things. She was willing to try anything and I had a lot of fun playing around with her and her mom.
