easter 2014

Happy Monday to you all! I certainly hope you got to spend this weekend with those you love and relax and have some fun! This past weekend was a wonderful one! Ryan and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary and Saturday. So I took the day off and we did some shopping and just spent some time really enjoying each other’s company.

Then Sunday was Easter – which means tons of family fun! We spent the morning with Ryan’s family (as we do every year). Ryan’s parents host the extended family Easter every year. So we arrived at their house with Pizzelle’s and Tomatoes and Mozzarella for everyone to enjoy. It was lots of good food and great company with people we love.

Then we headed back home to prep for my family. I was super excited to get to host my first family holiday this year. Our home before the fire was quite small and not really conducive to entertaining, but the new home has the perfect great room (kitchen/dining/living room space) for hosting get togethers. Ryan and I got the house all lean and sparkly for my family. We made grilled chicken bruschetta – which is easy and delicious and just spent some time with good conversation.

And because I was exciteeaster 2014And because I was excited – I of course – requested some family photographs. I even made sure I was in them this time too. We had fun with it!

I asked mom to take a couple pictures of me and Ryan too. We were both dressed nice and our anniversary was the day before. I think she did pretty good for not knowing how to use my camera 😉easter 2014easter 2014easter 2014

Well I hope you’re Easter Sunday found you well and happy and with your family and friends! See you back here on Wednesday!
