Today I get to share a really awesome family with all of you! I was super excited when Amanda (Chris’s daughter) contacted me about getting her dad a gift certificate for a family session for Christmas. We schedule their family session earlier this year when Amanda was on spring break. It was the perfect time to schedule their family session since everyone would be home. With the crazy winter/spring we were having, I wanted to make sure we had somewhere we could go that had a little color. Sometimes early in the year – it’s hard to find color because most trees haven’t started blooming yet. Thankfully, the Evans family graciously allowed me to photograph their session at their Chritstmas tree farm in Mt. Zion, which was perfect with their beautiful evergreen trees. It was a chilly day out and with the little ones being so young (Atreyu is 3 and Koen is 9 months old) I tried to get great pictures as quickly as possible so we could get them back in their warm cars. I had so much fun working with this awesome bunch and they did so well in spite of the cold!
