I am super excited to share the session with all of you! You may remember Laura from creative maternity session not that long ago. Well her little miracle man finally arrived after a very long labor and a little over a month after our little miracle girl made her way into our arms. I was so excited and honored that I got to meet this sweet boy in the hospital the day he was born. And then I got to snuggle with him again just 10 days later for his newborn session!

Laura, her mom, Julie, her step-daughter, Aubrey, and Charlie made the drive to our Kirksville studio, where I had everything set up and ready to go for his session. I always plan ahead a little bit for my baby sessions. I talk to mom to see if she has any ideas, requests or suggestions. And from there I build the plan for blankets, wraps, hats, props, etc. I tend to be a bit minimslist with my newborn work because I like all the attention to be on your sweet little bundle.

Charlie didn’t want to miss out on any fun so he tried to stay awake. But we eventually won and had a perfect sleepy guy on our hands. We used a lot of blues and creams for Charlie because this little guy is all boy! He did so good for his session with me and he’s so easy to want to love on! So without further ado – meet Laura & Nate’s newest addition – Charles Randolph!
