I feel so blessed to have these two beautiful souls in my life… even more blessed to call them family. You may recall seeing these two cuties from their engagement session and wedding last year. And now we get to celebrate these two as they become a family of three!

We found out Rich and Cassy were expecting right around the time I was working on accepting that we might never be chosen by a birth mother. I don’t know why… but I had started wondering if they might be pregnant before they even told us. Personally I think this was God giving me a little extra time to prepare for the news. But I was genuinely so incredibly excited to know that Rich and Cassy were becoming parents! They are going to be such amazing parents too! Their little man should be here before we know it and I cannot wait to meet him and love him and watch our kiddos grow up together!

Rich and Cassy are such awesome people and amazing friends. I feel so lucky to get to know them and spend time with them. I truly enjoy every opportunity we get to hang out and talk. But for now – let’s talk about the shower because this little one sure deserves to be showered with love! Cassy’s mom put together a super sweet shower with jungle animal themes! Super cute for the little guy. There was a card writing station and onesie making station too. I loved that Richard also got to be a part of the festivities and enjoy seeing all the gifts they received.
