You may recall recently that I shared an exciting new project I’m working on, and I’m thrilled to be giving my senior models the chance to take part in this project. The project is called The Your Story Project, and it is a collaborative creative project where we work together to create an art piece that visual portrays your own personal story. I did one for myself entitled The Girl Who Gave Too Much because I have a tendency to put everyone else’s needs before my own. It was incredibly liberating and super exciting seeing something that is part of who I am displayed in unique and different way. And I’m so excited to be doing this with others too!

Because I have been so excited about this project, I talked my hubby into doing one. Ryan’s was actually a collaborative creation even from the idea point. Sometimes figuring out what your story is going to be is the hardest part. That was definitely true for Ryan. He had so many ideas… and thus his story was created – “The Man with a Million Ideas.”

One of the things I love about Ryan is the way his brain works. This man, he has SO many ideas! He’ll have ideas about opening up a restaurant, or a welding shop, or an idea for a painting or some project for the house. Each new idea excites him and as he contemplates that idea, he comes up with dozens of ideas to improve the original idea. Idea stacked upon idea, stacked upon idea. And often all of these ideas end up being overwhelming and he feels surrounded and trapped by the sheer amount of ideas and possibilities floating around in his head. So that’s the idea we’re working on to create Ryan’s Your Story Project Piece.

I’m not going to reveal the finished piece to you all today since I’m hoping to have a big unveiling of all the Your Story Pieces later in the year, but I would like to show you a little peek behind the scenes of Ryan’s Your Story Project shoot. So here’s a little glimpse at how we do one of these sessions!
