Oh my goodness! I cannot believe miss Bee is already six months old! I feel like that time just flew by! And boy has this girl grown! She’s just adorable with her little baby rolls and big, beautiful, blue eyes!

I met this pretty little lady with her mom and dad out at Fairview Park in Decatur on a sunny afternoon. It really was a perfect spring day for her six month session with a light breeze and lots of sunshine! Since the grand was ever so slightly damp, we used one of Jill’s quilts to set Bee on and we got some sweet shots of this big girl!

I love Jill’s down to earth personality! (Always have) And she has such a real approach to photographs of her little girl. I always do my darnedest to get smiling photos, but Jill told me she was total fine if we didn’t. She said for her it’s about memories and “if Bee decides not to smile – we’ll just be able to look back and remember that she wasn’t super smiley today.” I mean, that’s just the perfect approach to portrait sessions. Life’s not perfect – our memories (our photographs) should reflect that. Anyway, I digress…

Bee actually did a fantastic job! Sure – we got some more thoughtful expressions but she definitely gave us some big ol’ grins too! Of course, before it ended we had to get a few of this beautiful family together. Jill and David are such great parents to sweet little Bee and it’s so fun to see these three interact together! You can definitely tell she loves her mommy and daddy!
