Get ready ladies and gents! Today I get to share the beautiful Ashlee with all of you! I was super excited when Ashlee’s mom contacted me about doing her senior portraits. I knew of the Knapik family through one of my former senior clients and I just knew that they’d be a wonderful family to get to know and work with! And they certainly have been!

Ashlee is s a really awesome young lady! She’s incredibly athletic playing on both St. Teresa’s softball team and in a travel league as well. This year her team was named the 2014 Champions at the Illinois ASA State Tournament. Quite an accomplishment if you ask me! But she isn’t just an athlete either. She’s an incredibly bright young girl too and is a member of the National Honors Society. She’s also tons of fun and describes herself as both outspoken and opinionated – which just means to me that she’s got ideas and she’s not afraid to share them. She is incredibly confident too, which I find to be an incredibly admirable quality – especially in any high school girl! But don’t let all that fool ya – she’s got quite the girly side too! She knows how to rock a dress and get dolled up – hair done and make up in place. This girl is quite the beauty!

With all the many things that make up Ashlee, it makes up perfect sense that she had lots of ideas for her session and came prepared! We started at Mueller Park Ball Diamond to showcase her athletic side. We included her trophy and sports gear and even got a few pictures in her favorite professional team’s memorabilia – the Saints. Then we headed downtown to get some really awesome shots of this beauty in a lovely teal and black dress she found online. I had tons of fun photographing her in this location, but we were losing light quickly so we headed off to the lake for Ashlee’s last couple outfits from our partner, Maurices out at Hickory Point Mall. Ashlee came out for our Splurge Party and found a super cute patterned hi-low dress and an awesome pink top that really brought out her vibrant personality!
