I always love taking pictures of the Freund family, so I couldn’t wait when Amber called to schedule Angel’s Five Year Old pictures. We met up at Amber’s house and she mentioned that she’d like to try out the new park in Mt. Zion that was being built. It was too far from there house so we just hopped in the car together and drove over.

It was a super sunny day… so bright in fact that poor Angel was having trouble opening her eyes! In order to spare her poor eyes from the brightness we sought out any shade we could find. We used the shadows of the railing on the walkway around the pond, a rock pillar, and the best spot of all – the big brick pavilion.

As always, I love taking pictures of kids. You never know if they’re going to be shy, spirited, a clown, a poser, or quiet and content. There’s so many moods in a child and I do my darnedest to try and bring out their true personality in their pics. It’s not usually a hard task with Angel… she’s such a fun-loving little girl who loves cheesing for the camera and playing.

So we basically just had fun with it. We let her come up with some of her own ideas and played some games. Without further ado… here’s Angel’s sneak peek:
