I cannot tell you how excited I am to introduce this family to you today! Megan called me a little over a month ago to meet, plan, and book their upcoming newborn session. Let’s just go ahead and point out the obvious – Megan and Alex are gorgeous! I mean seriously – I could not have gotten to photograph too more beautiful people. And they are just lovely – inside and out! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know them over the past month.

As you all know – I do on location newborn sessions. It’s an extra service that I like to provide my moms and dads – to provide them with the ability to have their first official professional portraits in their own home. That way everything they might need is right there and handy and they don’t have to worry about packing up baby and the things they might need and traveling to me. I find it relieves a certain amount of stress – and that is always my goal!

So I met the Oakley’s at their home on Memorial Day to meet their beautiful baby girl and capture this beautiful family together! Megan and Alex have a beautiful home and oh my goodness – gorgeous miss Annastyn slept like a dream! I’ve worked with some pretty easy babies – but this little one takes the cake! She slept the entire time. We only stopped to feed her briefly once because she was getting a tad but fussy. But she was a dream baby – sleeping the whole time letting us get her into all the perfect poses. I loved getting to capture some memories in the nursery for them as well as some important keepsakes and momentos. And of course we had to include grandma and grandpa too!

I could go on and on about this sweet little family, but instead I’ll just let you see. Meet the gorgeous Oakley family and their beautiful new addition, Miss Annastyn Jo!
