Harrison Dean Golden’s Newborn Photography | Sullivan, IL
I am so so SO excited to share little Mr. Harrison’s newborn session with all of you today! I got to meet this little man when he was just 10 days new. I always try to photograph my tiniest clients within their first 10 days because they change so much and so quickly and it’s the perfect time to get those sweet sleepy curled up portraits we all know and love!
As is my way, I met the Golden’s at their home on a Thursday afternoon. I had given them my list of tips to make sure newborn baby would be happy and warm and that everything would be ready to go. Jake and Sarah did a fantastic job following my advice! And because of their hard work and effort, little Mr. Harrison stayed fast asleep through his whole session. That’s not always the case so I was really impressed with this handsome little man!
We started off with some portraits of the new family (minus the furbabies). Sarah and Jake had painted the baby’s room a beautiful neutral tone so we had the perfect backdrop right in the nursery for their first professional portraits as a family. Sarah and Jake did so good with all my requests and I think we can all agree that they are just the cutest little family we’ve ever seen!
After getting the family shots done, it was Harrison’s turn to take center stage! I have course had to get my detail shots and some precious photos of him curled up in his blanket. Then we moved him to the front room to get some shots of him in the beautiful knit hammock grandma made! Don’t worry – We practiced all safety precautions for Harrison’s hammock photo and composited a few images together to create his hammock portrait. Then we finished his session with a special blanket and some knit accessories grandma also made for him.
Harrison did so good at his newborn session, and I’m so impressed with how well he did through his first official photo shoot! I think we have a little model baby boy on our hands! Without further ado – meet sweet Mr. Harrison Dean Golden!
