Wedding Season Approaches | Custom Wedding Albums

May 4, 2011

As wedding season approaches I wanted to share some images of my wedding albums. You may have seen pictures of them before, but I’d like to talk a little about why I’m in love with these albums.

Below I’ve put some images of the two sample albums I currently have at the studio. One (Joseph & Meagan’s) is a 12×12 20 page album. The other (Tim & Amy’s) is a 10x 10 10 page album.

The first thing I love about these books is that all the albums are designed with image on the cover. You’d be surprised how hard this is to find! But my lab does an amazing job with their wrap around covers. Also love that the cover comes is printed on metallic paper so you get this beautiful sheen and glow to your front image.

The second thing I want to mention is the pages. These albums are awesome because they have thick, sturdy pages that are designed to last. You can lay your album flat open on your coffee table and the binding won’t bread and pages won’t crease. Plus, there is no gutter – which means that an image goes straight across from the left page to the right page with no space in the middle. It’s perfect for awesome panoramic images or to add a quote like the one below:

I’ve looked at a lot of different printers made several different books to test places out, and I can honestly say that I have yet to find a printer that does a better job than my current vendor. And they’re prices are by far the lowest of anywhere else I’ve looked especially considering the quality.

Here’s the thing though… They are still pretty expensive. I’m not going to lie about it or try and tell you that they aren’t, but I can honestly say that I believe they are totally worth it! You’re getting a beautifully crafted custom designed book of images of you and your special day! You even get to make decisions as far as what images you want included in your book.

I know they may not be for everyone, but if you are at all interested in getting an album made, I would definitely recommend setting aside some money to get yourself one of these books. You won’t find one like it anywhere else! You can come to the studio a take a peek at one of these gorgeous albums in person. (Be sure to call first to set up a time!)

Well there’s my little advice for my 2011 brides! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
