It is my insane pleasure to introduce the beautiful Miss Emily to all of you today! I was so excited when Emily’s mom called to talk about Emily’s session. I was lucky enough to get to do Emily’s older sister, Megan’s, senior portraits a couple years ago so I was overjoyed to get to know Emily too!

One of the things I love about working with siblings is getting to see their unique personalities. While Emily and Megan are close in age and you can definitely tell they are sisters by their appearance – these two girls are definitely their own unique people! I think Emily is a little more rough and tumble – she likes to spend time outside playing with her dog, Max, and riding her four wheeler. Not something the average girly-girl enjoys – but Emily has a blast with these activities! She’s a very gifted runner competing on Saint Teresa’s very successful Cross Country team. She’s also another one of my very smart girls – getting amazing grades and a member of the National Honors Society. (I think the smart seniors must come to me because so many of my guys and gals are members of NHS!) Emily always has an incredibly generous heart – she’s active in Servium, a service group at St. Teresa. And I’m certain that her kind-hearted nature is one of the reasons she was selected to be a leader for the senior Kairos retreat. (AIAOYIFTRMALY!)

I met Emily out at Rock Springs for her senior session on a mild summer evening. We had some ominous cloud cover during her session, but it only sprinkled a little. We got to include Emily’s four wheeler in her session (we got special permission and supervision from the park ranger) and her awesome golden retriever Max. One of the  things that can be really fun about senior sessions is picking out clothes – Emily did a great job choosing clothes that showed off her down-to-earth spirit, sweet demeanor, and feminine side.
