I love living in a small town, out in the country. There’s something about the wide open spaces and nature everywhere that constantly reminds me how small I am and how awesome the great wide world is in all it’s natural beauty! And with so much of it around us out here – I find myself constantly inspired especially during shoots out here. And we have some amazing locations near our Kirksville (Sullivan area) home studio.

Today I’m sharing the Camp Camfield location with all of you! This awesome reserve is just down the road from our home-studio. It is beautiful in spring, summer and fall. There are awesome trails both rock and dirt, beautiful trees that turn lovely shades of red and yellow and orange in the fall, and big grassy meadows to your hearts content. It’s a lovely location and I’ve had the pleasure of taking some awesome portraits here of both my family and others’ families too! And because it’s unique to the Sullivan area, my Decatur clients can find themselves having a location unique to them.
