New Backdrop Fun

February 12, 2014

I feel like as a photographer, there is always something more you could use to really have fun with your work. And it seems there is a never ending plethora of props, backdrops, actions, templates and gear to keep any photographer constantly finding something new and exciting. I am no different in that regard.

I’d been telling Ryan for a while I was wanting to get a couple backdrops for the Kirksville studio. I intentionally painted our walls a lovely cream color so that I always have a wonderfully warm, neutral backdrop. But I thought it could be a lot of fun to have some other options and I finally decided to make the jump and get a few.

Well they arrived last week and I was so excited to play with them that I made poor Ryan be my model. He was all relaxed in his comfy pajamas and here I am excitedly telling him that I need a subject “oh please, oh please, oh please just stand over there!” And Ryan being the amazing husband that he is helped me out. He will probably kill me for posting these up on the internet, but I’m so excited to share them that I didn’t want to wait for someone else to stop by to show them off.

Plus – who doesn’t love a pair of awesome Dr. Suess sweatpants đŸ˜‰

Needless to say – I was more than a little excited about these and I’m super giddy to be able to offer them as indoor backdrop options. Now these drops are exclusively available at our Kirksville location where I can really utilize our awesome natural light studio with these awesome fun new backdrops! I cannot wait to see you in front of these! đŸ™‚
