If you’ve seen this month’s Healthy Cells magazine, you may have seen a few of my photographs gracing the pages. Last month I met up with Krista and Amy at Heartland in Decatur, IL. I’ve photographed this facility before to document their wonderful physical therapy. This time the magazine was documenting their dialysis set up so it was fun to come back and highlight another service they provide.

As always – the staff was wonderful to chat with. They are super friendly and quite funny too. I could see how being a patient here would be nice since they’re cheerful, fun-loving staff don’t make it seem quite like being at the doctors. Their dialysis room was set up really inviting too with books and soothing colors and big comfy chairs and blankets so that patients will be comfortable and relaxed while hooked up to the machines.
