I’ve been working fervently to get this year’s senior info put together and ready for the class of 2014! I’m so excited this upcoming class of seniors and I know you all are going to ROCK IT! We had so many great seniors last year and I loved working with every single one of you! I hope you have some junior friends who are going to come and have some fun getting their portraits taken with me.

For those of you who don’t know much about me – I love senior portraits! When I was a high schooler I was VERY quiet. I was reminded of how quiet I was earlier this year at the 8th grade career fair when one of my high school teachers was there and informed her students that my 20 minute presentation was the most she’d ever heard me talk… ever! I also didn’t think I was particularly pretty. I had very low self-esteem. I thought I was fat (when I most assuredly wasn’t). It really wasn’t one of the best times in my life in general.

I remember how hard high school was. There are so many expectations from peers, and teachers and parents and yourself! There is nothing I love more than getting to know these amazing, young men and women! I often leave their session feeling impressed with their sensitivity, creativity, thoughtfulness and talents. We spend the time before and during their session really talking about who they are and what they like. It’s a time for them to explore who they are so we can highlight that in their senior portraits. And there is nothing I love more than helping these young people see how awesome, beautiful, and talented they really are!
