Late this fall, I got this brilliant idea to try and get all my siblings together (yes – all three of us) to take pictures and surprise my mom and dad with them as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately – basketball season was already in full swing so finding a time that would work with my baby brother’s crazy basketball schedule became nearly impossible. Instead I ended up taking pictures of me and Ryan and Joel and his then girlfriend Stacey.

Joel and Stacey came out to my house and we drove to the nearby park and then downtown to take pictures of these two. I’ll be honest – I don’t know much about Stacey. I know she’s a social studies teacher, that she played college basketball at Greenville where my brother also attended and played basketball, that her favorite color is yellow, and that my brother loves her. So we walked around and talked a bit. I knew by the end of the session that it wouldn’t be long before my brother popped the question. Funnily enough a few weeks later he asked me to go ring shopping with him. And on December 14th he asked Stacey to be his wife. (and of course she said yes!)

So here’s a little peek at my soon to be sister-in-law and my brother’s pre-engagement session. Enjoy! 🙂
