House Update: June 22, 2012
So today I had planned to show you Ellen’s senior photos, but we had to reschedule their viewing session due to a sudden trip they had to make. So instead I thought I’d give you a little update about the new house/studio space we’re working on. It’s been over 8 months since our house burned down last October, and we’ve been busting our butts priming, painting, prepping for the flooring, etc. We’re getting so close to being done and ready to move in that the suspense of it being finished is literally driving me crazy… Seriously – I feel quite scatter-brained these days. Anyway though. I wanted to give you a peek at the progress thus far.
Unfortunately a lot of these pics are a week or so old so they aren’t quite up to date. (I’ll be out at the house today so I’ll hopefully get some more updated photos.) But as of right now our new space is completely primed and painted and we’ve got the beginnings of the underlayment for the flooring in place. The hope is by the end of next week to have the cabinets in and the electrical done. So we’ll see how it goes.
So there you have it. A peek into the progress on our home and new studio out in Kirksville. I can not wait for this to be complete so we can start having clients in a more comfortable space. I hope you’re all having a fantastic Friday and stupendous weekend! I’ll see you all Monday! 🙂
