Showin’ Some Love #9
Well I had a formal blog post written for today on my laptop at home, but unfortunately I’m going to be stuck in Decatur all day – so that will have to wait til another day.
So why am I stuck in Decatur, you may be wondering? Well, Ryan posted our 2003 Chevy Impala up on Craigslist on Wednesday and by the next day it was sold. So we came in town today to meet the man who purchased the car and get paid. However, some complications were encountered. Apparently banks can’t instantly wire money from one bank to another any more. So we are having to wait 2-5 hours to see if the money transfers so we can provide the guy with the title…So we’re waiting.
So since it’s Friday and I like to end the week with some positive thoughts, I figured I’d post some of my highlights this week.
– New Haircut
On Tuesday I went over to Studio 7 in Decatur to have my haircut by the amazing Molly. Molly is awesome! The first time I went in to have my haircut, Molly ran her fingers through my hair and said, “You have fine naturally wavy, don’t you?” And she was right! Awesome! Everytime she cuts my hair, it looks super cute. I love her! Here’s a pic of my new haircut:
I rarely get girl time these days, but I got to have lots of it this week! I got to meet up with the lovely Amber Freund and her adorable kids on Wednesday. We let the kiddos play at the mall’s little play area while we talked and then we took them to Panda Express afterwards. So much fun!
That same night I got to go over to beautiful Raeanna’s house to visit with her and her fiance Ryan and meet their precious new baby girl, Laila! Laila is so tiny and little and looks SO much like her daddy – it’s ridiculous! I’m rooting for her to have Anna’s skin and hair. Can you imagine – dark brown hair, lebanese skin and bright blue eyes! How awesome would that be. 😉 I’m going to be taking some pictures of the little lady and her parents next week so you’ll get to see her very soon.
I was so excited yesterday when I got a twitter update on my phone from Lori Nordstrom @nordstromphoto. Oh my gosh! To have someone as amazing as Lori post a link to my blog on her twitter feed for everyone to see totally made my day! I think I was pretty much giddy for the rest of the afternoon and evening! So thanks so much Lori! You rock my socks!
