It was a beautiful sunny day on a Sunday afternoon when family and friends arrived in Farmersdale, IL to witness Jennifer and Chris vowing to love each other forever more. I took Chris & Jen’s engagement pictures in June this year and I was really looking forward to taking their wedding pictures.

Jennifer is such a sweet young woman, and she looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day. The beautiful beading and cut of her dress really emphasized her tiny little waist. And the purple-pink lilies just seemed perfect for this end of summer beginning of fall wedding.

Chris looked so handsome. He was significantly more prone to smiles than he was during the engagement session…I think someone was excited to see his wife. 🙂

 There was an awesome breeze on Sunday that was just so refreshing. It caught Jen’s veil making for an absolutely stunning picture.

 Finally the moment they were waiting for! Chris was grinning from ear to ear and Jen couldn’t stop smiling. It was a sweet little moment for the two of them.

You couldn’t help but see how happy Jen’s mom was for her and Chris! There was just so much love pouring out from everyone present on their special day. It is apparently that Chris and Jen are very much loved not only by their family but by their friends, coworkers, and bosses.

Jen’s brother Mike walked her down the aisle. He was so proud to be able to give his sister away and he did such a great job!

Chris & Jen gave their moms flowers during the ceremony. The embrace Jen and her mom shared was so sweet, sincere, and heartfelt.

 And then they were pronounced man & wife. Chris & Jen walked to their get-away car (Chris’s truck) through a frenzy of bubbles.

 Now for a picture of the rings. Chris’s boss actually had an awesome little LED light that I used for this shot. I love the detailed etching in Jen’s ring and the diagonal cuts in Chris’s and you get a peek at their wedding colors: watermelon & black.

 When they danced to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” it was like the rest of the room melted away and it was just the two of them reveling in their happiness.

Chris & Jennifer, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day! You two are a wonderful couple and I wish you all the happiness in the world!
