Today I get to share the Pezzelle family with all of you, and for those who don’t know – Pezzelle is my maiden name.. so yup! This is my family! A few things have changed since our last family portrait a couple years ago. Our brother, Richard got married to the beautiful Cassy. My middle brother, Joel, became a dad, and I’ve lost quite a bit of weight. So we were definitely due for an upgrade!

We all met up at Fairview Park one early afternoon. Mom had chosen a color palette of blues, browns, and creams. So we all dressed accordingly. The weather was great and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day! I did bring my posing rocks and a blanket with me so I had some help carrying those over to the perfect shady spot I found.

When I do family sessions, I always try to do a variety of groupings. I like to try and get siblings, couples, individual families, the big family, etc. So I tried to do that here. I think it’s so good to get each individual family and shots of those grandbabies together with grandma and grandpa (or in this case Nonni and Nonno).

Clearly, I’m in these pictures… so how did we do this you may ask? I brought the gear and set everything up and our awesome friends, Frank and Kayla, helped get the shots. I took the pictures I wasn’t in, but Frank took the ones I was in and Kayla helped get the babies attention too. We really couldn’t have done this without them!

Oh! We also did a little mini-bonus shoot of the twins for Joel and Stacey since they are now officially six months old. These little guys always give me a run for my money but I so enjoy these two and seeing their different expressions and interactions!
