St. Teresa 2016 Winter Sports Portraits
This marks officially one full year since I started working with St. Teresa. My first shoot for my alma mater was last year for their winter sports portraits and a couple weeks ago we did the 2016 winter sports portraits. For those who don’t keep track of sports… that means we got to photograph the guys and girls basketball teams. We also do a bunch of group shots for the yearbook on this day too.
Since it takes me a solid 45 minutes to get into Decatur, I left my house bright and early as the sun was just beginning to rise. My windows were a little frosty – so I got to have fun doing a little scrapping before I headed out. Once I got to school, I started unpacking all my gear and headed to the gymnasium to set up.
We did the sports portraits first starting with the girls, doing team and then individual portraits. We finished up the sports portraits with the boys basketball teams, again doing both team and individual portraits.
Once we got those done we started working on the clubs and groups portraits for the yearbook. So that means NHS, WYSE, Drama Club, International Club, Servium, Student Government, SADD, Juggling Club, and a slew of other fun and awesome things. We also did the annual sibling photos, which are always fun! We did these when I was in high school too – so it was fun doing these for the Class of 2016! And we finished the day off with big class portraits.
So today – here’s just a quick little peek behind the scenes at our Winter of 2016 photo shoot. I should be placing orders for all you guys by the end of the week to my lab and getting them back to you ASAP! If you’re wanting to see the rest of the shots head over to our St. Teresa online gallery at: http://greentreemedia.zenfolio.com/f182234886 Don’t forget to order your copy of the 2015-2016 St. Teresa Yearbook too!
