Happy Friday everyone! I hope everyone has stayed safe and warm with this reason bout of cold, crazy winter weather! Ryan and I were quite efficiently stuck until yesterday afternoon. As I’ve mentioned before – one of the pros and cons of living in the country is getting snowed in. With the wide open spaces and the light snow, we had some serious drifts in our yard. Thankfully, Ryan and I have been blessed with some awesome friends who came out to our house over lunch on Wednesday afternoon to help dig out our cars.

One of the wonderful reasons I was so happy to get our cars dug out was because I was scheduled to speak at this year’s 8th Grade Career Fair at Richland Community College. This is my fifth year speaking and I always enjoy getting to share my experiences and a little info about my job with such awesome young people. It was such fun talking with groups yesterday and I’m excited to be speaking again today!
