I am so excited to share this awesome senior session with you today! You guys know how much I love my LSA seniors and I always love the opportunity to get to know them better. I was super excited when Dayton’s parents contacted me about capturing his senior photos because I had done his cousin Baylee’s photos not long ago so I knew we’d have a ton of fun!
Dayton is an awesome guy! He’s quiet, calm, and humble. He’s not the first to talk but he definitely has a lot of ideas and he’s incredibly bright! Once he opens up – he’s super funny – so we had a blast cracking jokes. He’s also quite the athlete playing both golf and baseball. In fact he just got to go to state for golf for LSA which I think it is an amazing accomplishment!
I love the fact that Dayton do not let the weather hold us back on his session and because of it we were able to capture some really cool images! We started out at the golf course in Forsyth and in spite of the rain got a ton of awesome shots. The rain enabled us to get really unique images that we wouldn’t have been able to capture other. Truthfully, next to no Photoshop was required for these photos. All of the effects were created in camera. We got a variety of looks at the golf course, both for golf itself and his standard senior headshots. Then we headed out to the LSA baseball diamond to finish his senior portraits there and got some more super fun shots in the rain.
I love that Dayton and his parents trusted me and let me have fun creating something different for his senior session! It isn’t often I get to do a session in the rain and this was a first for me. I had a lot of fun creating these images and I hope you enjoy taking a peek at a few other favorites!
