Christmas 2014

January 2, 2015

I know this post is coming a little late – we’re full swing into January and a new year, but here I am writing about Christmas. The truth is – we finished our last Christmas festivities yesterday so I finally feel like I can write this post now that our family’s holiday celebrations are complete.

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I love the traditions we had as a kids growing up in my family and I enjoy creating traditions with my husband now. I love putting the ornaments on the tree, looking at the fun new additions we acquire each year. I love baking for the holidays. I love Christmas music and Christmas movies. Most of all I love finding the absolutely perfect gift for the people I care about.

I think a special gift for someone you care about can mean far more than you may ever know. It’s why every year, I spend a lot of time all year long looking for just the right present, something with meaning. It means a lot to me to be able to show the people I love how much I care. And let’s be honest – I can’t just use simple wrapping paper either. I always end up doing something unique for the presents each year. This year I hand wrote names onto the wrapping paper itself to give each gift a more personal touch. It was a lot of fun to do and I think it means a lot that I put that extra time into it to make it special.

Giving the gifts is always so much more important to me than receiving them. But we did got some really wonderful gifts this year too. Better than the gifts is the love of our family and friends. I feel exceedingly blessed this year! I have had a great transition year with my business. I have family who love. I have some amazing new friends, and some rock solid friendships with people I know I could call if I ever needed anything. I have hope that this year our family will grow with the help of our wonderful NP. And I am excited for some fun new projects moving into 2015

I hope that you and your family have had a wonderful 2014 holiday season! I will officially be back in the office on Monday! I’m excited to work with all of you in 2015!

Wishing you Peace in 2015

Nice writing. My favorite besides family is that our Church at Christmas Time with the Manger and all the lighted trees and Poinsettes is just beautiful and so inspiring with the Birth of Baby Jesus.
